First Solo Flight

I have been learning to fly in a Cessna 152, a single-engine plane with 110 horsepower (a smaller engine than my car) and a range of about 350 miles at 115mph. Usually, I fly this plane, N5090Q, which has been around since 1981. The Nice Air building in the background is the flight school I am training with.
Here I am right after my first solo flight, which I squeezed in just before sunset on March 18th, 2002, after waiting almost two weeks for the winds to get below 10 knots.
Me and Hiroko, my flight instructor.
